Dear STrEaM Families,

Annual Spring Auction

(LINK) Our annual spring auction Went LIVE on APRIL 30TH!

The money raised in the annual spring auction helps to provide teachers with classroom grants, sports with gear and equipment, lunch for our economically disadvantaged students and savings toward our future facility. Please help support this fundraiser by advertising the auction to your friends and family. Thank you to all the families and businesses that made this possible!

Grading Deadlines

Next Thursday, May 18 is the end-of-quarter deadline for practice assignments (PAs) in many classes.  The final deadline to redo mastery assignments (MAs) is Monday, May 22.  Now is the time to get caught-up with any missing work resulting from absences or unfinished work students did not complete and submit during classes.  Students are given reminders and help during Advisory class on Tuesdays and Thursdays to use StudentConnect (Q) and Canvas to make a “to do” list and to finish something from the list.  Please ask your student about their progress with completing any make-up work during Advisory, and please help them finish anything else as homework.  Getting caught-up as homework will help students make successful progress with projects in classes.

23-24 School Year Planning

ONLINE REGISTRATION for 23-24 school year

WHO: Students enrolled in any ASD returning to any ASD school

WHEN: Online registration open in (link) ParentConnect now through August 17, 2023

WHERE: Parent Connect - use your Parent ID Number (PIN) and see link in top right corner

23-24 SY intent survey

Parents of current 6th and 7th graders: it is very helpful for planning our schedule and filling seats to know your intent for the coming school year.

Please complete the survey indicating your intent. This is especially important if you are NOT planning to return to STrEaM. This is NOT for 8th graders- we know they will be moving on!

Fentanyl Awareness

Please see the attached flyers with fentanyl information.

There’s nothing more important than the health and safety of your children. That’s why we are sharing this crucial information with you about the fentanyl poisoning crisis that communities across the country are experiencing. Awareness is key, so we need to educate children about this danger. Staff are covering critical information on this topic in Advisory. To help you have this conversation at home, here is a link to the free Natural High Fentanyl Toolkit: www.naturalhigh.org/fentanyl

DROP OFF & PICK UP TIMES

Arrival/drop off time is 7:45 AM. The doors are not open and we do not provide supervision until that time.

Pick up time is 3:00 PM (and 12:00 on Wednesdays).

Please do not line up for pick up any earlier than 2:45 as the parking lot is used for PE and breaks. If you must arrive prior to 2:45 please park and wait.
