Dear STrEaM Families,

After a brief pause to address some technical issues, ASD has resumed AK Star testing. We will be testing all week this week. Please see the schedule below for dates and details.

Our Basket Auction donations close on Friday. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to these incredible baskets! We are so excited to start the auction for these awesome items and themes.

We will no longer be providing masks at the front for students as they enter. Our remaining stock of masks will be reserved for students returning to school from COVID, as it is mandatory that they mask for two weeks following quarantine.

Big shoutout to our school community: so many of you stepped up to our call for lunch donations and contributed. Because of you, we can continue to provide supplemental and emergency lunches, and no child will have to go hungry at STrEAM!

Please mark next Friday, April 22nd on your calendars There is NO SCHOOL that day for STrEaM ONLY, due to the Wayland Baptist spring graduation. It is a professional development day for staff.

Outdoor Lunch

Now that the weather is getting warmer, we will have lunch outside every day! Please remind your child to be prepared to eat outside. On days when the weather is not cooperative we will offer an indoor option for students.

Lottery & 22-23 Enrollment

Second lottery is open now, and will close July 21, 2022, Parent notifications will go out July 28, 2022. We have seats in 6th grade, and are seeking female students to balance our 6th grade cohort. Please contact us if you have any questions about the lottery, waitlist, or enrollment.

Second Annual Spring Fundraiser

ADVISORY BASKETS DUE FRIDAY 4/15

The Stream Anchorage 501(c)(3) will host the second annual online basket auction to support Anchorage STrEaM Academy. The online auction will open on May 2 and close May 13.

• Each advisory class is making a themed basket for the auction. See the video on the front page of the STrEaM website and on the FaceBook Event

• Completed baskets need to be delivered to the front office by April 15. Each basket should include an inventory of the contents to the outside of the basket.
