Dear STrEaM Families,
Welcome back! We’re entering into the 4th quarter of the school year. It will soon be testing season: the State AK Star Assessments begin next week. The lottery is open, and we are actively seeking new students for the 23-24 school year.
Our annual spring auction is coming! Each advisory will choose a basket theme and collect items for their basket. Please check with your child’s advisor on how you can support this yearly fundraiser for our program! If you have questions contact the President of our nonprofit Jen Mickelson at mickelson_jennifer@asdk12.org

3/20 Monday: Full Day P. 1-7
3/21 Tuesday: A day Advisory, P. 1-4
Boxing 3:00 pm Auditorium
3/22 Wednesday:
Charter School Expo 4:30 PM (at STrEaM auditorium)
3/23 Thursday: B day Advisory, P. 5-8
WBU hosting an event in the auditorium. Parking lot will be full. Expect traffic delays.
3/24 Friday: Full Day P. 1-7
AK Star Assessment Schedule
Health Spotlight: Nurse Bethany
One way we can model health in our students is to seek ways to improve our own health. The state of Alaska is offering free health coaching programs for Alaskans who want to lose weight, prevent/manage diabetes, lower blood pressure, and stop smoking. Sign up with Fresh Start programs and a health coach will contact you, including sending you a scale or blood pressure cuff.
