Dear STrEaM Families,

With conference week behind us, quarter 2 classes and projects can now get rolling. The next break in the schedule is Thursday, November 11th. This week we welcome back Mrs. Sonday (formerly Ms. Draeger), our 6th grade Science and STEM teacher, from leave. With that, STrEaM wants to express thanks and gratitude to our long term substitute Elroy “Grandpa” Holsopple, who filled in and did an amazing job in the first quarter. The Holsopple family is an amazing asset to STrEaM!

This Week at STrEaM

This week is Spirit Week at STrEaM!

Follow the daily themes and dress up accordingly. Keep all costumes school-appropriate & safe, and have fun!

Monday 10/25: Make-Up Picture Day

Black & White Day: wear black and white like an old time movie!

Tuesday 10/26:

Fancy Day: dress in your finest!

Wednesday 10/27:

Throwback Day: raid parents’ closet, go old school
No Boxing. Math Club resumes.

Thursday 10/28:

Otherworldly Day: aliens & creatures from other galaxies

Friday 10/29:

Halloween Day: wear your (school appropriate) costumes!

Health & Safety

As we move into winter and it gets darker outside, it is so important for walkers and bikers to wear reflective clothing and safety gear. Drivers, be cautious and watch for students on foot or wheels when you are picking up or dropping off.

Other Health and Safety notes:

We go outside every day, including PE, breaks and lunch. Students must have appropriate outdoor gear for the weather
Keep ASD Symptom Free: Stay home & get tested if experiencing ANY symptoms
Masks required indoors, optional outside
All assignments are on Canvas. Quarantined students should also work on iReady & ALEKS for 30-45 minutes per day

Zoom for Absent/Quarantine Students

Ms. Bonertz hosts Zoom sessions for absent/quarantined students on Wednesdays. This is an opportunity for students to check in, ask questions and request support while working on Canvas assignments from home. LINK:
