Dear STrEaM Families,

We’ve reached the last week of quarter 3! Remember there is no school Friday, or next week. Spring break! We return on Monday March 14th for the 4th quarter.

Last week we sent an update on the district’s move to optional parent-choice masking. ASD encourages students and staff to continue wearing masks, and there are conditions that will require masking, such as presenting respiratory symptoms, returning from COVID isolation, awaiting parent pick-up due to COVID symptoms, or riding buses.

22-23 Lottery: Explorers Wanted!

The 22-23 Lottery is open! Please share our posts and spread the word about our program with your family and friends. See Mrs. Biondich for flyers and posters if you have a place to distribute them. Returning students do NOT have to apply in the lottery. The next APC board meeting is Wednesday March 16th at 5:30 PM on Zoom and Youtube. Contact us to be on the agenda for public comment.

We're proud of and thankful for our positive school culture. During school tours and at the ASD charter fair, our student leaders spoke about the closeness, support, high engagement, and frequent outdoor activities at STrEaM. They also spoke about the low levels of bullying and other serious misbehavior at our school. To hear the perspective of students, shared with prospective students and families, was so positive and encouraging.
