Dear STrEaM Families,
On Monday, March 22nd, we return to in-person learning at school!
This will be our first day in person in over a year. Please exercise patience and grace as we navigate new protocols and re-acclimate together.
Morning Drop Off:
- Please pull forward as far as possible before stopping and dropping students. See the traffic pattern below, and follow directions from staff
- Please drop off no earlier than 7:45 AMStudents will be directed to line up with their cohort and wait for teachers to take them to class at 7:55 AM
- 6th grade lines up at front door, 7th and 8th at the east/side door
- Please follow speed limits, drive safely and keep mobile devices off and away
Afternoon Pick Up:
- Students are dismissed for pick up at 1:00 PM
- Students walking home must leave campus immediately and may not return to campus
- Parents may park or pull as far forward as possible in the pick-up line
Please follow the cones and traffic pattern for pick up and drop off:
In-person learning begins Monday, 3/22:
- 4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Doors will open at 7:55 AM. School begins at 8:00 AM
- Students begin the day with a 30 minute Learning Lab doing iReady & ALEKS
- Students attend 3 periods within cohort teacher teams
- Dismissed at 1:00 PM
- Virtual Working Wednesdays: Log in to Zoom at home
Important procedures for in-person learning:
- Bring cold or prepackaged snacks only. Snack during outdoor breaks each period
- No items can be left in the building due to cleaning protocols
- Bring chromebooks and chargers each day
- Masks are to be worn properly at all times
- Come prepared to go outside every day!
- ASD is SYMPTOM FREE. Students exhibiting symptoms may not attend
- Students sent home with symptoms must have a negative test to return
STrEaM Hybrid/virtual students:
- Beginning 3/22, work asynchronously on Canvas assignments Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
- Continue daily with iReady and ALEKS Math
- Attend Zoom classes on Wednesdays (Mandatory)
